Brenda Hredil in Calgary of Landmark Medical Systems Inc. (lilpurse.com, thelilbagco.com). Hired a contractor officially on October 30th, 2024 by sending a deposit of $750 to build an e-commerce website for $1500. When the site was complete, she refused to pay and blamed the contractor for not doing work. However she never offered access to the domain name in order to connect the other domain name to the new website. She's repeatedly called the contractor all kinds of names. As you will see in the conversation Brenda is belittling the contractor and slandering him to neighbours, other IT professionals, the police, friends and whoever else she can get to listen. She works in the medical industry and has used her company's (Landmark Medical Systems Inc) clients to start selling her $4 China bags for almost $50. Brenda has repeatedly threatened and called down the contractor. Once locking him out of the account, she says she doesn't trust him, so won't let him finish what she's saying he never did. She now says he has to teach her his job of building websites before he will get paid. It's basically blackmail at this point, although all the heavy lifting on the site and hosting is complete.

Brenda claims she was charged by hostinger two times, then she upped it days later to actually 3x. Although upon inspection, Hostinger only charged her once. She also says I did nothing about it, however as you can see, I checked immediately on the hosting side to see the invoice on Nov. 4/2024.

Brenda Email from Nov. 4, 2024 - States she is too busy and that she's being very unprofessional to Landmark Medical Systems clients. She states that she has a computer guy.

"Sorry, but I was in the middle of doing a HUGE presentation for a Dist. In the US. And they kept asking why my phone was pinging, very unprofessional!!!

I have my computer guy looking for a good program that I can use to take the background off the pictures, but he has a question, why isn’t this part of the charge for the website?

I have a very busy week and will try to get this done, had I known I would’ve started on it earlier.

I will try to finish it while I am in my hotel room, as far as my email address goes, can you change it to brenda@thelilbag.co, please and when?

For Stripe; what are the charges/fees? I wish we could’ve discussed this, do I have to sign up with them? Some companies charge a lot and I am already chatting with someone who is offering me a great deal."

Later that day followed up by this email

This is the email message that I got from the guy I was working with, I'm really not happy about this, I'm trying to do this as reasonably priced as I can. I am not happy with Stripe's 'customer service' and now you have just stuck me with them,. What are my options? If I do not get a reply from them by Friday, then I am going to hav eto go somewhere else.

Honestly, you had no right to sign me up to this without discussing this with me.

I checked their website and as it's become the case for smaller companies, they have a deal with Stripe and only integrate with them. I know Shopify has it's own payment solution and does not integrate with anyome else and Wix integrates with a lot of gateways.

I'm afraid for as long as you stay with Hostzinger, Stripe is your only integrated option.

~ Quit listening to Amin! Quit giving away my tech knowledge please Brenda! I've warned who to deal with and who not to deal with. I've worked way too hard to stay under the radar and hide my SEO skills. Please please please do not share this with my enemies and competitors.

Stripe.com is not the only payment processor. Paypal also works, but it's more pricey. Stripe.com is the biggest and best ok, just trust me. There's no coding involved either, which is very dangerous and expensive to build websites. Stripe.com you don't have an account! You contacted sales, not support. Trust me they have 24/7 support, phone, email, chat. It's worldclass. Now please, stop sharing with Amin or any other people I've talked you to many times before about. Create a stripe.com account. Then contact live support via chat or phone call. I don't know what you want to ask them though?? They have the best prices hands down, not even paypal.com touches them. We're talking $2 a transaction, they need to make money for offering their services don't they? Especially if they are the best service? ~

As you can see she's already working with her web guy behind the scenes. He's trying to sway her to other software programs that aren't Hostinger. Hostinger offers Paypal and Stripe. She was well aware of what software I was using. When it came to payment processing, she claims she lost $700 to a payment processing company scammer already. She was asked numerous times to show who her payment processor is "who is offering me a great deal", what's their website, as this important when implementing their software. She totally ignored all of that and started yelling (ie. !!!!! ??????) as you'll see in the conversation's escalation.

Later that day...

"Please send me the agreement from Hostinger, how long is this for? When can I cancel and go with someone else?

I am not continuing on with this until I receive the agreement."

Now she wants to go somewhere else and starts reneging on the agreement.

"Are you serious? $2 a transaction?? You say is the cheapest??? I am not opening an account until someone contacts me to explain what the fees are, what I am getting, etc. You didn't give me options, you didn't ask me what I wanted in a website, what I was looking for, you just told me, do this, do this, do that!!! Well, the answer is NO!!! why give me an email on your server? I have my own, you said in whatsapp, it will come later, well, I want it done up now!!! I have email addresses, I DO NOT NEED ANOTHER ONE! I am the paying customer, am I not?? We have had a total of 2 conversations over video chat that you continue to say TRUST ME, I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING! Well, maybe since this is my website, I would like to know what you are doing!!!

I know pay pal is expensive, I've used it before and have done my research, I am not stupid! I am technically challenged and honestly thought you would work WITH ME not tell me what I am supposed to do.

Although extensive experience and research proves Stripe.com is the way to go, that's why Hostinger.com uses it!

I trusted you to work with me, I know nothing about my website, what font you are using? What the lay out will be, nothing?

The contractor repeatedly emailed and responded via her emails...when he didn't receive a response, he went back to WhatsApp as she seemed to respond there quickly. Now she's making excuses about fonts, layout, etc... The contractor is now spending hours arguing back and forth.

She responds...

I've just spent 1 & ½ hours on stripe, and had you listened to what I was saying in our first video meeting, you would've realized that I do not need 80% of what Stripe offers.

Contractor is now completely confused as she wants him to now research payment processing companies for her. Explain why Stripe offers too much that she won't use? It's becoming a nightmare.

Now you are demanding things of me when the website is now live? Please do not do a 360 on me, you hired me to do something, I'm doing it incredibly well. You've hired me for $1500, I've done everything you've asked so far, outside of the email which is controlled by Godaddy. The agreement with Hostinger? You have the hosting login (auth.hostinger.com). Now you are wasting my valuable time with all off these random demands and mistrust issues.

Wow, turning into a big headache for the both of us now.

Where did I get 49.99? You told me over the phone. Remember I thought $100? The sheet was delivered but it's a broken file...so unreadable.

You want a custom e-commerce site where you choose absolutely everything down to the font? I really think you are very uneducated on what these sites actually cost. You should be in the $3500 to 5000 range for what your asking. I'm trying to help you but you are fighting me instead of working with me.

You asked for an e-commerce site to sell lil bags. That's exactly what I'm setting up for you! I didn't know that you'd be questioning every little part of it considering I'm helping you and saving you thousands of dollars? Please quit getting frustrated with me. I don't know what you expect, but for $1500 it isn't much more than what I've offered. Why is email so important right now?? I used the one on my server because I needed an email to create your account! I can't create an email under your server without an account first.

Please stop fighting the help, I'm stressed out big time. If someone is trying to steal this contract and yapping in your ear the negatives? Stop listening!!!

As far as Stripe? You're killing me, "I don't need 80% of what they offer" what should I do complain about their services? They are the cheapest, I sent you multiple links.

You have 1 more option, don't use e-commerce and have people etransfer you money.

Let's try and work together here. I've honestly never in 20 years had a friend/neighbor/client EVER demand so much control. They hire me to do a job and I do it. If you want to change the font, colours, prices, pictures, etc it's easy, I can do it! But flipping out about it is another thing, I don't need the unneeded.

On Monday 4 Nov. you sent me a WhatsApp message saying to remove the background on my photos, I spent time with my Computer friend finding a program, then guess what? I find my website on Facebook and you have used the pictures as is, WTF? The cost of the program will be deducted off your final payment, not a partial payment as you again messaged me on WhatsApp! That's not what we agreed on!

I have spent the better part of the day on Friday, reaching out to people in the industry who all say Hostinger is not a good site, too many restrictions on payment processes, as I have found out and not very user friendly and other issues with sites going down, etc.

I know that you will send me a nasty email back, but I am done.

The balance of the payment will be sent when everything is taken care of, ie; my email address is the one I want, I am able to take care of the website myself, since I know that you will not do anything else I am wanting and any additional costs I have incurred will be deducted.

In one email you said, you are trying to help me make money, I disagree, you are making money at my expense.

(As you can see, she is now accusing the contractor of making commissions on payment processing which isn't the case at all. She's totally confused herself and now is blaming the contractor and adding more work to the project. She is charging the contractor for removing backrounds of images also...oh it gets better...)

Nov. 4th...Brenda Hredil asks for email and website passwords...all are sent to her via what's app. Contractor sends logins via whatsapp, she requests by email. Contractor sends by email.

at 8:10 am via WhatsApp Brenda Hredil Says "Stop!!!" and this is the beginning of the escalation as three !!! is basically yelling via text message is it not? She continues "I'm not signing up for stripe, they are way too expensive"

Contractor responds...Too expensive? Show me another cheaper e-commerce solution?

She responds "Genuine Solutions a lot cheaper"

Contractor...Link? Have you read the fine print? Stripe is one of the biggest in the World.

Brenda Hredil responds..."******* I've researched a lot, its my choice"

Contractor responds...Please take a minute (hoping she'd de-escalate as he sees that she's getting difficult to communicate with). He's asked for the website that she's suggesting will be the payment processor. Although shes ignoring his request.

He asks again "link?

"I have I'm not discussing this over WhatsApp, stripe has nothing I want"

Contractor responds...I need to know the company in order to know how to implement into your site. Only Geniune I can find is for direct b2b payments. ie. You and the consumer via a machine terminal. I know the payment processing space, friends of mine are big players in the industry in Montreal (who were mentioned to her in person in the past to show her that I had experience with payment processing companies...not that I was suggesting to use them, that was never a discussion.).

Contractor is now confused as he wants to set up the final step of the website, the payment processing. But she starts demanding login again. Contractor replies via WhatsApp "Ok, I sent an email, it's all on hostinger, Same email as we have been using mz Brenda, Please understand these companies all lie to get people's business" Contractor was trying to educate her that resellers hide details to get the contract.

"Yes I know, which is why I'm looking for myself. I went through Peloton and Clover, which so-called friend recommended and ended up losing close to $700 so I decided to research it on my own."

Contractor responds...

Exactly, Like I said I know this space, no one is competing with the biggest stripe. They are international, fees can be ridiculous, especially when doing payments from different countries. I sent an email, please reply with their website link.

"Is Stripe the company that your buddy owns because I'll tell you why I'm not going with them. I went on you can't find any pricing nothing. I found a price that they charge for one credit card transaction which is twice as much as what the other guy is offering me plus you can't call anybody. Everything has to be through email and I am so fucking sick and tiredof these companies not offering any customer service that I'm done"

Contractor is confused now. Stripe.com is clearly not my buddies payment processing company, she hasn't been listening at all. Stripe.com you email without an account, like all websites. However, she's totally went against what she just said about sending me the the guy she found who was 2x cheaper?? The logins were emailed and now she wants to go back to fighting over Stripe rather than provide the payment processor option she wanted to use. It was obviously fabricated.

Stripe has 24-7 Support and They are world renowned and no not my friends in Montreal.

Then tell them to get some customer service because I did send them my email and I haven't heard fuck all I'm done with this OK I've made my decision. What is my domain name on hosting or whatever it's called

Contractor responds with screenhots of the Stripe.com's website showing that they offer 24-7 support. She needs to create an account to get support, but once again she won't, sends them an email and has to wait for sales support, not service support. All prices are clearly on their website. Contractor responds..."you can't just make decisions like this lol Sorry not how e-commerce works." She's made a decision on something she knows nothing of how it works as you can see. You need ecommerce software to process payments, integrating software with banks is high tech stuff and is targeted by hackers regularly! You don't just pick a processor and it appears on your website. I've tried explaining that Stripe.com is used by Hostinger, as is Paypal...Hostinger finds them to be the best options and since it's integrated, security isn't a worry! They handle the code, we don't!

"*****, stop it or give me my money back and I will go find somebody else who actually wants to work with me. I've made my decision. I will find my own and I will find a company that gives good customer service."

Contractor is dumbfounded as he's trying to explain to her how the processing works but she wants to fight and now threaten. Responds...

"Dont threaten me please" Being her old neighbour, he knows she likes her wine regularly. He's confused why she threatens cancelling over asking for the link to her decision, which is also now "I will find my own" She has totally went against what she said in the first place, "send me logins, I'll send you his info." Now it's new research.

I'm trying to help you, but you're being difficult right now. I asked for your guys website, if he doesn't have a website do you actually think he's better than the biggest online payment processor in the world? Forbes link also sent showing they are very reputable and among the best in the world according to their research. They don't have monthly fees, they are cheap percentage and basic transaction cost $.30

Contractor again trying to de-escalate also writes "I'm helping you, but I think your listening to the wrong people?"

Conversation was finished for the 4th of Nov. Next day Nov.5th Contractor sends her a message, she doesn't respond, he sends emails, she doesnt respond. Goes to Whatsapp on the 7th, she responds "Give me a day I got my first retailer in Lethbridge!!! I am so busy and so exhausted"

Contractor responds "It's fine, here's one more" with a screenshot of searches on Google where her new website was starting to show up, ie. indexing

She responds "I have no idea what this means"

Contractor says "These are searches on Google where your website is showing up

She responds "Thanks"

Contractor "make sure to check your mail regularly, I've emailed you the logins, its on your server" This was all done on the 4th as you previously seen.

but she once again is totally confused and says "What? I don't have my email address set up! So how can I check it???"

Brenda Hredil on Nov.8th writes...when told via whatsapp about the new followers he attracted to her Facebook page: "Try 3 followers, The neighbours are right, you are a f'ing psycho!!!" (Brenda is now talking to the contractor's old neighbours from over a year ago about the contract and the contractor, slandering him)

Contractor now going in circles and getting absolutely nowhere. Responds "I've updated the email on the account admin to brenda@lilpurse.com, It's setup"

"I don't have any info on it" Brenda Hredil says, although it was all emailed on the 4th, so contractor once again confused and responds

"I emailed you a few emails at mz.Brenda email"

She flips out " But that's not the email address I want ! Do I not have a say in anything???

Contractor responds:

"Why are you !" ..."Can we talk civil without yelling at me? If that's most important to you I can set it up sure, but it's going to cost. its hosted at godaddy they use microsoft"

(godaddy charges $2.49 per email, but hostinger does not). This was going to be a final step, but the offered to set it up for her, to which she doesn't respond to.

Brenda Hredil responds...

"I'm not yelling for gods sake! Can't I say anything???????????"

Contractor responds...

"So if you want to add another layer you can, but I'm trying to organize everything easiest for you. Right now you have lilpurses, lets focus on selling those."

She responds...

"I'm trying to work I said giv me a day! I have not had any fucking input o. This this is not the way things work I'm turning my phone off because I need to finish my work and you will not leave me alone"

Contractor has now spent 2 weeks building the base of the site. He is in the final stage of setting up her email that she wants and explains that she can it's $2.49 per month with Godady (where she registered thelilbagco.com domain name) Contractor has no access to that at this point, he's been doing his job, building the website to sell her 5 products. Brenda is clearly confused on how things work, contractor has tried his best to be patient but running out of it.

Contractor now confused that it's been two weeks without her doing anything but sending pics, no payment processing link, no design ideas, no font requests, and she says "you will not leave me alone"...

Contractor responds...

"You're turning into a nightmare? You're not listening, we can do everything you want. Priority is getting the site live and functional...polishing we can do later. If you want that email, it's $2.49 a month to Godaddy and it's Microsoft! So do what you want, I'll help you, but quit acting like a victim?? I said we can do this all, but please step by step."

Brend Hredil responds "Go to Hell"

Contractor now sees major escalation as he's a Christian and now being told to go to hell.

Brenda Hredil goes and changes all the passwords to login into her new email and hosting account. Contractor is totally locked out, she refuses to allow him to finish whatever new requests she has made. She was asked via WhatsApp for godaddy login on Nov.9th, she was sent her email and hosting logins. She didnt respond to requests on the 9th, 10th, 11th and then the 12th..

Brenda Hredil then writes on Nov.12th as last message on Whatsapp...

"I’ve already spoken to my lawyer! I can’t get into my host stinger account. I’m dealing with that. I can’t. I couldn’t call my bank yesterday because they were closed. I’m booked today and tomorrow so I need to work on that on Thursday. I have no idea what you’ve done. I have no idea how to get into anything. This is not what we agreed on go ahead. I’m working on it as fast as I can. If you don’t like it cancel my website. I don’t care." (She knows I can not cancel because it's already created. She has full access to her email and hostinger account, but plays like she doesn't - Brenda was told she would be able to learn how to edit the site once complete, but she's turned that into, I need to know everything as you're doing it, being completely unreasonable and totally outside of the E-COMMERCE WEBSITE CONTRACT for Lil Purses)

As You Can Now See She's Working With Hostinger Support and Totally Ignoring Emails with me to login. The Contractor Had Immediately Responded With the Password via Email Nov.7th and Nov.12th. She now changes the password and locks the contractor out of the Account to make any more changes.

From Nov. 12th Brenda emails...

Well, I'm done with you.

I can not get into my Hostinger account, I am working with them to fix that and to get the 2 charges taken care of.

Please do some research on payment methods, there are less expensive ones out there! I am not going with Stripe and if I can not go with one that I choose, I will cancel this and start over.

You are calling me names, bullying me into doing what you want me to do. I do not even want to sell on line, but you do! I have showed all the whatsapp conversations to my lawyer and he is appaulled how you address me and how the conversations go.

When I get the mess you made sorted out, I will contact you.
